Jinchuuriki
Håkon and Adrian have played together with different larger ensembles, but in Jinchuuriki they meet in a duo format where they cultivate the qualities of the violin as a tool for improvisation. Two violins seem to produce a united sound which is much greater than the sum of each instrument. The instruments resonate in a way that only two equal instruments can, and this allows for a wide variety in dynamic and sound. The duo embraces both eclectic and slow expressions, but the main goal is to go where the music and the nerve exist in every moment. Therefore one cannot say that this duo have only one conceptual approach to the music. Both Håkon and Adrian has a background in classical, jazz and contemporary music, and have composed music for several projects. They are both distinct lyrical musicians, but they also have a preference for textural, tonal and rhythmical experiments.
